The iconic Omega Speedmaster 38 mm collection welcomes a stunning array of new models in 2024, with luxurious gold and steel cases topped by sparkling diamond-studded bezels.
Omega brand ambassadors Kaia Gerber, Han So-hee and Liu Shishi effortlessly capture the allure of these exquisite chronographs. The approximately 1.5 carats of diamonds that adorn each bezel enhance the Speedmaster aesthetic without overpowering its distinctive character. Omega remains true to the legacy of its most famous chronograph, while adding undeniable glamour to these creations.
Two new models, crafted in Omega’s own 18K Sedna™ gold, feature brown PVD-treated dials with horizontal oval subdials in silver. The diamond-set 18K Sedna™ gold hour and minute hands are coated with green-emitting Super-LumiNova for optimum legibility. Wearers can choose between a polished-brushed 18K Sedna™ gold bracelet with Omega’s patented comfort adjustment system or a brown leather strap with an 18K Sedna™ gold folding clasp.
The 18K Moonshine™ gold editions feature green PVD-treated dials with silver-colored horizontal oval sub-dials and a vertical oval date window at 6 o’clock. The diamond-set 18K Moonshine™ gold hands are filled with green-emitting Super-LumiNova. These precious timepieces are available on a brushed and polished 18K Moonshine™ gold bracelet with Omega’s Comfort Fit system or on a green leather strap with an 18K Moonshine™ gold folding clasp.
Fans of classic stainless steel can choose from four new variations, all with PVD-treated dials in brown or green. Silver-plated horizontal oval subdials, a vertical oval date window at 6 o’clock and rhodium-plated diamond-set hour and minute hands with white Super-LumiNova complete the stylish look. It can be worn on a stainless steel bracelet with Omega’s adjustment system or on a matching leather strap with folding clasp.
As a nod to the Speedmaster’s prestigious history, each timepiece features a domed, embossed seahorse medallion on the caseback. Inside, the chronographs are powered by the officially certified Omega Co-Axial Caliber 3330. This automatic movement features a column-wheel mechanism, a Co-Axial escapement and an Si14 silicon balance spring for unparalleled precision.

“Our goal was to turn heads by emphasizing the luxurious spirit of the Speedmaster with fully polished cases and bezels set with dazzling diamonds,” said Omega in a statement. “For the dials, we drew inspiration from heritage models such as the 42 mm Moonshine™ gold Moonwatch with its green dial and the very popular chocolate brown dial from the De Ville collection.”
These new 2024 Omega Speedmaster 38 mm models join an already impressive selection that includes a stainless steel model with a black dial and rhodium-plated hands and indexes, a two-tone yellow gold and steel edition with an opalin silver dial and green leather strap, and the popular “Cappuccino” in Sedna™ gold and steel with a taupe leather strap.
