In a captivating celebration of David Koma‘s 15th anniversary, the London-based Georgian fashion designer has unveiled his Resort 2025 (Cruise 2025) campaign featuring the mesmerizing Lourdes Leon, daughter of the iconic Madonna. This marks a significant moment for Koma, as it is his first campaign to feature a celebrity as the face of his label. The designer’s admiration for Leon’s beauty and artistry led to this momentous collaboration, which he describes as “exciting” and “amazing“.
Koma’s latest collection is inspired by the abstract work of sculptor Isabelle Albuquerque and the body painting of model-turned-artist Veruschka von Lehndorff. The campaign images show Leon effortlessly embodying the essence of Koma’s designs, with one particularly striking photo of her wearing a deer print bodysuit with chain mail while gracefully performing a split. Koma praised the image as “one of the coolest” and noted that it exceeded his expectations.
