Since 1906, Van Cleef & Arpels has been renowned for its exquisite craftsmanship and poetic approach to timekeeping. The prestigious French luxury brand is now showcasing its rich history and artistry in the “Poetry of Time” exhibition at Cromwell Place in London from May 26th to June 9th. The showcase features an impressive collection of timepieces spanning decades, highlighting the brand’s unwavering commitment to creating timepieces that are not only functional, but also works of art.
One of the focal points of the exhibition is the brand’s ”Poetic Complications” collection, which embodies Van Cleef & Arpels’ unique approach to watchmaking. Each piece in this collection is a testament to the brand’s creativity and attention to detail, featuring eccentric elements such as snow-set yellow sapphires and intricate guilloché yellow gold.
Visitors to the exhibition will have the rare opportunity to witness the artistry and skill that goes into creating these masterpieces. Live demonstrations from the watchmaking workshops in Geneva, Switzerland, will provide a fascinating insight into the meticulous process behind each timepiece.
