Kenzo and Artistic director Nigo have unveiled their second collaboration with artist Verdy, who has created captivating graphic elements for the Spring/Summer 2024 season. The new Kenzo x Verdy line, titled “Colors“, will be released in drops throughout the season and is inspired by a playful and harmonious blend of primary color blocking that seamlessly integrates into the Kenzo universe. The collection will also feature new tonal iterations of the Kenzo Pace sneaker, which the fashion house introduced last year.
A close friend of Nigo, Verdy is a Japanese graphic artist whose vibrant, colorful and playful designs explore youth culture, rebellion and references from the past. Influenced by skateboarding, hip-hop and manga, his work has been described as a fusion of Japanese and Western streetwear, making Verdy the perfect creative collaborator for the East-meets-West spirit Nigo has always envisioned for the brand.
The men’s line includes a gray zip-up hoodie and unbrushed fleece sweatshirts in gray and blue. The “Kenzo Paris” (or simply “KP“) logo appears on the chest or back of the garment in a font designed by Verdy. Matching shorts feature the same logo at the knee. Jersey t-shirts, in oversized or classic cuts, are available in the same color palette, as well as yellow and white.

For women, a classic, loose-fitting t-shirt features the same logo options as the men’s versions – “Kenzo Paris” or “KP” on the chest or back. Poppy red, lemon yellow, white and gray add dynamic accents to the color palette. The collection also includes a soft white jersey cropped t-shirt with yellow lettering and a long gray t-shirt dress with white logos.
Accessories for all complete the line. A small navy-blue canvas tote bag (the same shade as the men’s clothing) reads “Kenzo Paris,” as do the baseball caps, in blue with a white logo and off-white with a yellow logo. The three fresh, summery colors used for the Kenzo x Verdy clothing (deep blue, red and lemon yellow) are also used for the new version of the Kenzo-Pace running shoe. First unveiled at the brand’s Fall/Winter 2023 show, the Kenzo-Pace has continued to evolve and underscore each Kenzo collection.
The Kenzo x Verdy “Colors” collection will be available throughout the Kenzo network – in Kenzo boutiques, on kenzo.com and at its retailers – from April 12th, 2024.
