OTB Group-owned brand Diesel has tapped Damiano David, lead singer of Italian rock band Måneskin, as its first-ever global male ambassador.
Known for his electrifying stage presence and unique personal style, Damiano David embodies the essence of the Diesel man. His unapologetic attitude and fearless approach to self-expression align perfectly with the brand’s core values.
The appointment of Damiano David as global ambassador is a natural extension of Diesel’s ongoing relationship with the music industry. Under the creative direction of Glenn Martens, the brand’s collections often pay homage to the iconic pop aesthetic of the MTV era. In addition, Diesel has actively engaged with music enthusiasts through its series of free rave parties held in various locations around the world.
The partnership between Damiano David and Diesel goes beyond representation. They will collaborate on a genderless capsule collection, co-designed by Martens and David, to be released later this year.
Damiano David’s rise to international stardom skyrocketed when Måneskin won the 2021 Eurovision Song Contest. Along with bandmates Victoria De Angelis, Thomas Raggi and Ethan Torchio, who have been friends since middle school, David has captivated audiences with his infectious energy and undeniable talent.
Prior to his partnership with Diesel, Damiano David and his bandmates were closely associated with luxury fashion house Gucci. Under the creative direction of Alessandro Michele, they fronted the brand’s Aria campaign and frequently graced Gucci’s shows and events.
Damiano made his debut with Diesel in May at the 2024 Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute gala, where he and his girlfriend, singer and actress Dove Cameron, donned full custom Diesel looks designed by Glenn Martens.
